While recuperating from an injury, composer Carman Moore wrote the music in HOME to help soothe and heal himself. These deep musical creations originate from what Moore calls his personalized system of spiritual practice in which meditation figures prominently.
This quiet and exotic HOME is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful C.D.'s in the field of meditative music. Performed by the composer at his touch-sensitive Ensoniq MR76, HOME presents 10 works of varying lengths, celebrating the spiritual heart of the Galaxy. The title "Home" derives from the title of its 6th piece, "The Home Galaxy." The composer invites the listener to simply settle back with eyes open or closed and let the music soothe the soul.
